Hosting and Server Log Files
Visiting this website causes our hosting provider to automatically process technical access data (e.g. IP address, date/time, requested page, browser type) in order to operate and secure the site. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website). Retention: approx. 7 days, longer only where needed to investigate a security incident. Recipient: our hosting provider, acting as processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
Contact Form and Email
The contact form collects email address and message (required), name (required), and company (optional), plus your consent confirmation and a captcha check. This data is used only to handle your inquiry, and is shared internally and, where legal input is required, with our external counsel OKL & Partner. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual inquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where you tick the consent box; consent can be withdrawn at any time via info@sculentis.com. Data is deleted once your inquiry is resolved, unless statutory retention duties apply (§§ 147 AO, 257 HGB: 6–10 years). The same applies if you email us directly.
Cookies
A single, strictly necessary session cookie (PHPSESSID) is set to operate the website and validate the contact-form captcha; it is deleted when you close your browser. Legal basis: § 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — no consent required. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are used.
